CoronaWe reached out to all of our providers and asked that they share what they are seeing in their areas as far as the pandemic is concerned.

The below responses were sent to HRS in regards to a blog post (click here to read full blog post) Written by Shirley Harper, April 3rd, 2020.

This post can serve as a place where we can share what we see working and what we see as not being helpful as far as prevention or treatment options.   Examples of what we are looking for: What are you seeing in your clinics? How are you providing a safe environment for your employees, and patients? Do you have a 30-day plan in place? Or are you reassessing weekly?

By sharing information, we are stronger as a group. Supporting each other is one positive thing that we can do.

Please comment below, or reach out to Shirley via phone (208-827-6359) or email (shirleyc@dbackofficesolutions.com), or comment on our facebook page (public or private) so that we can get this conversation going!

I am practicing in Prescott, AZ. We have 2  public  hospitals serving Yavapai County (YRMC West and East Campus) and the Northern Arizona VA Medical Center.
None of these hospitals is experiencing an overburden due to COVID-19 cases.  I know of 3 patients (all men) that have been quarantined in the hospital (2 at VA and 1 at YRMC-West)  and 1 if on a ventilator.  All have received the Hydroxychloroquine and Z-pack for 5 days; all recovering or back in their homes.
Here is our county report:
Yavapai County stands at 41 cases, and more cases are expected.  There are 27 residents in the Quad- Cities area, and 13 in the Verde Valley area, and 1 unknown; 13 seniors 65+, 25 adults 18-64; 3 minors. 19 males, 22 females.   YRMC reports 2 COVID-19 hospitalizations today, with one person under investigation (PIU) on the East campus, and 8 PIUs on the West Campus.  VVMC reports 1 hospitalization, and 5 PIUs
We are only seeing “well” patients in office and wearing masks, gloves (all the PPE we have).  Using telemed/phone calls for others that are high risk or symptomatic.   Assessing week to week at this time.
Currently staff and well patients are using IV Vit. C, IV MAH w/ UBI, IV Meyer’s and Engystol.  Oral: D3, C, A, Zinc and Colostrum.
We are seeing symptomatic relief with:  Homeopathic Bryonia, Elderberry Syrup, Adaptogenic Herbs (Astragalus, Cordyceps, Licorice); Hydrotherapy (Magic Socks); Mustard Packs; A Mulsion (short course of high doses and step down dosage for 7 days following); FIR sauna therapy, Vit C IVs and MAH w/ UBI.

I am glad you are asking about this.
I have not seen a case of Corona Virus. I heard some local hospitals are having a hard time because their ER departments are empty. They have only few cases of Corona Virus but not as bad as they make it look.
I only heard of two cases in other states about grandmas having Corona virus. But it seems quiet here. I am not sure if we really are getting the truth.
Take care and keep yourself healthy. Let us know what everyone else says about it

Just as quite here in western Colorado, we’re pretty remote, okay very remote as well.. Supposedly there are several cases in telluride and aspen, I have an ER nurse who I am close to that works in Montrose I can ask about it.. he says they are definitely seeing a few cases..

My thoughts on the Corona virus –

So far, in the entire world, only 21,294 corona virus deaths, from 1/1/20 until 3/25/20.
Compare this to 113,034 deaths from season flu, 228,095 deaths from malaria, 249,904 from suicides, 313,903 from traffic fatalities, 589,599 from alcohol, and 1,162,481 from smoking, DURING THE SAME TIME PERIOD!
If the US government were truly trying to prevent death, why are they attacking the LOWEST risk?
Why not try to prevent some of the HIGHEST risks of death that don’t need totally isolating people and destroying the economy?
*Banning the sale of tobacco will reduce the risk of death by 55 times more that secluding people to prevent corona virus death, and it will save 1,141,187 more lives.  That’s over a MILLION MORE LIVES being saved during a 3-month time period by focusing on tobacco use versus the corona virus!  *Banning the sale of alcohol would prevent 560,302 more deaths during a 3-month period, as opposed to secluding people from the corona virus.  Worse, when people are socially isolated they have tend to drink and smoke more.
THE TRUE COST OF SOCIAL ISOLATION IS AN INCREASE IN TOBACCO AND ALCOHOL USE, THUS INCREASING THE TOTAL DEATH RATE.

I have not had any direct contact with my local hospitals. I don’t know if they are truly overwhelmed or not.

I do know the whole response to this Virus issue is lacking one key component of any medical problem or pandemic, is the absolute lack of offering of any treatment by those running the “response” to the issue and an active dissemination of info trying to convince everyone that there is nothing that can be done short of a ventilator and some exotic last ditch medications. Completely crazy making for us who know and regularly treat viruses and systemic inflammation on a daily.

Lots of weird smoke with this one.

But I do seem to have been treating patients since December 2019 for a strong respiratory cough/bronchitis/pneumoniae that all have recovered from but now in hindsight matches the COVID19 described disease pattern.

Would love to hear more what you all are thinking.

Stay well and safe and health, though I know you all know how!

In El Dorado county we have 19 cases zero deaths everything pretty much shut down our business is down 50% there have been no deaths, certainly in our county I think this is blown way out of proportion compared to New York.

Had one 25 yo who was positive. No prevention was being done. Chest cold with loss of taste and smell. She got it in New Orleans where there are 97 things you catch there that were worse than Corona including a Corona beer hangover. Seriously she did have mild SOB so prompted her doc in a box testing.

We have tested a few in parking lot. All negative.
We are pushing a Corona Six Pack (3 things for prevention, 3 to start if you get it).
I did a video on Facebook on how to prevent. Very well received.  Plan to do follow-up. We are on the eve of complete totalitarian lockdown.

I am an NMD in Havre, MT and there has been one “supposed” case where I live, but I know the tests they are using are pcr for general corona, and they are extremely fallible and unreliable.  I do not believe the mainstream narrative.  I recommend Del Bigtree and Highwire for some true data, Judy Mikovits, and Rashid Buttar.  I also would recommend Jon Rappaport at www.nomorefakenews.com

I practice in Redmond, WA next door to what was the country’s first “hot spot.”  I am a Naturopathic Doctor and have a solo practice managing the chronically ill.  I have had several upper respiratory patients since January – all have recovered easily – I didn’t think much of it other than “this is a strange flu.”  I do Autonomic Response Testing so energetically I wasn’t getting a specific trend I was familiar with.  Only 1 of my patients was lucky enough in recent weeks to be actually tested (swabbed) for COVID and it came back negative.  I’ve had at least 3 positive Influenza A cases in comparison, but I don’t have swabs for COVID (I asked for these 2 weeks ago from my LabCorp rep!  Still haven’t received!) and now “symptomatic patients that aren’t at risk” are told to stay home and not get tested anyway.  So in summary, I believe this novel bug (or bugs) have been around since January but I’ve just treated it like any flu season.
My sister is an internist on the East Coast, not far from what is now the hot bed, NYC.  She does admissions and sees the elderly die of URIs every season.  Since January she has had some pneumonia cases that came back negative on their typical viral screens, so she also reflectively thinks COVID was around since January.  In her county, she now has approximately 12 admitted, confirmed positive cases and all patients are 80+ years old.  She’s been too busy to give me more details of these cases, because of course this is a policy nightmare for everyone in primary or urgent care right now.
Seems like a ton of fear and just another yucky bug, potentially fatal like many other bugs, especially when folks are susceptible and there are aberrant immune responses.   Theory: mold has exploded in this area (5G? something else?) and I hear in other areas, so I’m wondering if the nursing home was a hot spot not only because people were elderly and generally immune compromised, but mold compromised as well?  Is THAT happening everywhere in the country??
