How YOU could be treating your patients Arthritis with HRS/OCBMRoadmap.com practices and techniques!
Approximately 58.5 million people have doctor-diagnosed arthritis, which is the leading cause of work disability each year. In 2013, it was estimated that the total cost attributed to arthritis was $303 billion. Of that, $140 billion was medical expenses, including prescriptions. In addition, over-the-counter NSAIDs and topicals add to patients’ physical and financial burdens. Arthritis is one of many conditions where using HRS in your practice can bring safe and effective results in a fraction of the time, at a fraction of the cost.
An HRS injection into an arthritic joint allows the ozone to attack and break down the scar tissue. The body has now activated stem cells via the inflammatory response. The leftover oxygen from the breakdown of O2 serves as the perfect fuel for the stem cells as they rebuild healthy tissue. Patients may experience a slight burning sensation at the injection site initially. However, after some slight range of motion movement, most patients begin to feel relief right away. When using HRS for arthritis or any other condition, it’s essential to use ultra-pure, contaminant-free ozone and strictly follow safety guidelines to ensure an effective injection.
HRS ensures the correct combination of ozone and vitamins, with formulas designed for specific areas. The HRS approach is based on the condition and not purely on symptoms. HRS injection needles can vary by size, allowing for further reduced risks. HRS injections are a carefully formulated combination of ozone, vitamin B complex, Procaine, and amino acids. It’s important to note that we recommend waiting 2-3 weeks after steroid injection, and realize it may then take 1-2 injections to respond well to the ozone as steroids inhibit the body’s ability to activate stem cells.
